Windows 7 ftp opens in browser
This seems to be an issue in Windows 7 only because when this is done on Windows Vista or XP, she gets the original link showing of the file through the browser. Does anyone have this issue with the interface of Windows 7. I know because I tested it with the different versions IE's on Windows 7 and it does the same thing. I went to Vista and XP and it works differently.

The status is the same. As described, the files are being open in a browser with a C location vs the ftp location. I've confirmed this to be the behavior on all Windows 7 machines I've played with. I looked on about 4 of them. Al the vista machines are working as designed and show the url link of the ftp site.
This is regardless of the browser they are using. I strongly believe it is a Windows 7 behavior. Start Internet Explorer. Click Tools , and then click Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab. As this thread has been quiet for a while, we assume that the issue has been resolved. Artwork will be implementing https download as soon as we can. Firefox version 86 and later block FTP by default. If you get a strange dialog box after clicking on an ftp link on one of Artwork's download pages, this is the reason.
Note - it is also possible that your company's firewall may block all FTP traffic. Check with your IT department if you are not sure. When presented with the next window, enter into the search box the term "ftp".
You will see a number of settings related to ftp file transfers. So I just selected chrome but now it always opens in chrome even when I've deleted the ftp folder started a new one it still opens in chrome! This is really stupid how you don't have an Open With Can anyone help to just open using Windows Explorer? Afterwards, retry your Explorer shortcut pointing to the FTP server, and it should open up with Windows Explorer in a folder type view rather than with your web browser in the web browser type view.
