Admissions patterns from previous years affect how many students are admitted each year. Students who have been admitted to the Nursing Science major as freshmen or transfer applicants can participate in our direct-entry program.

After completing nursing science courses at UC Irvine, these students do not need to reapply for admission. The UCI nursing school ranks 10th out of 70 schools in the state.

Additionally, it ranks 21st in the Western region for academic achievement. UC Irvine accepts applications for the regular admissions season until November
